Freedom Bookshop

Radical bookshop in Whitechapel stocking works on anarchism, workers’ struggles, anti-fascism and much more. They also stock a lot of material which is free, as well as fiction, posters, CDs and T-shirts.

The bookshop is open Monday to Saturday noon till 6pm and Sunday noon till 4pm with occasional events at weekends. You can ring them on 020 7247 9249.

They are based on Angel Alley, a blink and you'll miss it alleyway just off Whitechapel Road, near Aldate East tube.

The bookshop is run by Freedom Press, the largest anarchist publisher in the UK established in 1886. They also publish the excellent fortnightly paper Freedom.
